Good evening! This is sou7. Following Day 1 of the Nanasaba 1st Season Development Diary, here is the development report for Day 2.
Like the Flow of a River
Just like yesterday, today’s work continues with drawing rivers on the map.
For example, there are three delta areas like this. Will these wetlands make city-building a challenge, or will they be conquered and transformed into thriving metropolises? The future is exciting!
We also have rivers that twist and turn like a snake. Look at those curves!
With all players working together, we’re finally seeing progress in completing the central part of the map. At 4384x5040, this map is massive, and even just drawing rivers is a huge task. Just a little more to go—let’s keep pushing forward!
God Created Humans in His Own Image
Before we can begin transportation, we need to build cities. In Nanasaba 1st Season, a population growth tool (nicknamed Furikake) is allowed during the initial setup phase. Time to sprinkle some Furikake over the towns!
Hasaga Town, Hasaga Prefecture
This is Hasaga Town, the central city of Hasaga Prefecture, located in the Seikai Region(Seikai refers to Western Sea) on the western part of the map(See Nana-Iro Country for more information.). The city is uniquely situated on an island within the river.
Central cities of prefectures are allowed to grow up to 50,000 residents, and we’ve currently used Furikake to boost Hasaga Town’s population to 25,000. However, it’s already grown larger than expected, raising concerns: Can we really handle the transportation demands? If this is just a prefectural capital, what will happen when we build the nation’s capital? The thought is terrifying!
Paru City, Paru Prefecture
This is Paru City, the central city of Paru Prefecture, located at the base of the Minahasa Peninsula, which extends northward on the map. This city is also closely intertwined with a river, making all our river-building efforts worth it!
We’ve increased its population to 20,000 using Furikake. However, with mountains tightly surrounding the city on both sides, laying down railway lines is going to be a real challenge.
That concludes today’s development report! Stay tuned for Day 3 of the Nanasaba 1st Season Development Diary tomorrow!
