Good evening! I’m sou7. Wait, did I already greet you earlier…? Continuing from Day 13 of the Nanasaba 1st Season Development Diary, I’ll introduce more of the Houin Main Line. Today marks Day 14, which means it’s already been two weeks since the server started running.
Houin Main Line (Kanda Station - Manado Station)
This is the third time introducing the Houin Main Line, following Day 11 and Day 13. And now, we’ve finally reached the terminus—Manado Station. Let’s start from Kanda Station.
Tijin Station
Beyond Kanda Station, there are numerous small and mid-sized rivers, with towns carefully built around them.
You can clearly see where I gave up drawing the river halfway poor river, left with no current and utterly abandoned!
Senka Station - Rarou Station Section
The route continues eastward through a tranquil countryside.
Amura Station
Amura Village has a narrow-gauge railway that existed even before the Houin Main Line was built. The Amura Mining Railway transports coal from the mountainside mines to the port. From Amura Sonobe Port, the coal is shipped to Paru City, Ryugu City, Masaba City, and even across the island to Hasaga City.
This narrow-gauge railway was constructed by Aohara Maika, one of the players. Since Nana-Iro Country is being developed by multiple players, each has their own unique playstyle, which keeps things interesting.
Leaving Amura Station, the railway gently curves around a volcano. The journey is nearing its end—Manado Station is just ahead.
Manado Station
Manado Station is located on the southern side of the city. It has a through-station layout, designed so that in the future, when the Houyou Main Line opens, it will directly connect with the Houin Main Line.
Within the city, the Manado Port Line operates a shuttle service between Manado Station and Manado Port. The freight tracks at Manado Port are quite compact, but what will happen when future expansions become necessary…?
And with that, the Houin Main Line introduction is complete! The journey from Paru Station to Manado Station covered quite a long distance. What did you think?
Starting tomorrow, I hope to introduce a different region. See you next time in Day 15 of the Nanasaba 1st Season Development Diary
